The Cognito2 Lighting Console, from Pathway, easily programs LED lighting, dimmers, moving lights. Cognito2 is network-ready and features a friendly, streamlined user interface that guides you through selecting lights, adjusting their attributes, and recording reference libraries, memories and cues. Once programmed, the show can be played back manually or with sequenced playlists. Cognito has off line editors for both Mac & PC, and features a free iOS App with Remote Focus Unit functionality and more!

Pathway Cognito Console Training

Registration is now open for Pathway Cognito Console Training at Parlights!

Parlights own Walt Dowling will teach the basics of Cognito with hands on training.

Thursday, September 10 2015 from 10am to 4pm
Classes will be taught at Parlights new facility on Bowmans Farm Road
There is no charge for the training, but space is limited and pre-registration is required.

Learning an easier way to work!

Cognito presents a new and completely intuitive approach to programming conventional lights, LEDs and moving lights. The command line is gone, and now four simple actions: Select, Control, Record and Play, will have you confidently controlling your lights in no time. This class is perfect for lighting designers, teachers, students, facility managers, community theatre members as well as those who just want to see what the excitement is all about.

Philips Entertainment/ Strand Lighting’s Bobby Harrell returns to teach the basics of Palette with hands on training at Parlights.

Parlights CEO Cary Levitt, and president Walt Dowling, caught up with with Robert Bell (center) of Pathway Connectivity in the City Theatrical booth at USITT today. Mr. Bell created the Cognito console and recently visited Parlights to personally demonstrate the board’s intuitive features. The Cognito solves the complex task of programming shows for systems that include incandescent dimmers, moving lights and color changing LED fixtures.
