chalice-led-downlight-3-colorsThe Altman Chalice 100W LED Downlight Pendant is a 100W LED architectural down light designed for permanent installation and energy savings.  Integration into an existing control system is easy with the simple three button DMX addressing locates at the top of the fixture:  set it once and enjoy a smoothly integrated and energy efficient illumination solution for your area of choice.

The Chalice may be controlled by your lighting console, architectural control system or both. It is  also available as a mains dimmable fixture for those facilities without a DMX control system, or for easy retrofit to a current installation for energy savings.

The PLPROFILE4 luminaire uses the same proven LED engine as the Philips Selecon PL3, PL1, PL Series 1 luminaire range, and the Philips VARI*LITE VLX wash luminaire ranges, meaning color matching is simplified across the stage. The user interface is the same ensuring ease of use.

A key benefit of the PLPROFILE4 luminaire is that it is no longer necessary to change lamps or color filter. Combining the superior control and light quality of a Philips Selecon Profile with seamless fading between colors allows designers a new level of creativity. Location operation through industry standard batteries is built in. This unit will provide a soft, even wash at 19 degrees with diffusion lenses for 40 and 60 degrees. House and work lights are going green! LED lighting fixtures have now reached the price point and dimming capability that tips the scale in favor of using them over traditional sources such as incandescent and hard to dim fluorescent fixtures. The very low maintenance associated with LED fixtures is reducing labor costs as well as energy usage and carbon footprint. In fact, an installed high quality LED fixture may not need any maintenance for 5 to 10 years other than the occasional dusting of the reflector that all fixtures require . LED fixtures are available for both new construction and retrofit applications. Fixtures with on board DMX control do not require additional dimmers!
